"Everyone carries a room about inside them. This fact can even be proved by means of the sense of hearing. If someone walks fast and one pricks up one's ears and listens, say at night, when everything round about is quiet, one hears, for instance, the rattling of a mirror not quite firmly fastened to the wall." Rob Weinert-Kendt has done a great article on the emergence of Baby Theatre in American Theatre magazine. I spoke to him last year when My House was playing at the New victory Theater in New York.
I particularly love this quote from Tony Reekie in it: "... I wouldn’t want some of the people we work with to educate my children! But to tell my children a story, I can’t think of anyone better.” Really starting to think a lot about Caged the new version of Beauty and the Beast that we will be creating next spring. It's a great story but there is so much in it that it's hard to know what to concentrate on. It will be a pared down version looking at the relationship between the Beast and Beauty.

What a fantastic city. We were performing at Theatre ON in the eastern side of the city. The show was really warmly received and everyone made us feel really welcome. It was also great to see culture and the arts really at the centre of city life. There is a real can do attitude to making work and spaces. Ania met us at the airport with her bespoke sign.
It's not everyday you are in an article in the Walll Street Journal so have put the link up here

I want to thank you for restoring my faith in children's theatre. The production was gentle and beautiful, perfectly paced, with a lovely narrative and wonderful effects. It engaged children's emotions and imaginations, without believing, as all the other shows we have seen do, that children's theatre must engage their voices in inane 'audience interaction'. The acting was superb and enjoyed by all the adults in our group. The dialogue was ingenious and the set magnificent. I had almost decided to abandon taking Emma to the theatre until she grows up, but you have given me new hope!
