It's Christmas and there's nothing to eat. Esmerelda the chicken is in a mood and won't lay a Christmas egg. Not until her two owners tell her favourite story - Rudolf.
And so, using their imaginations, the objects in their tiny house and a strong sense of the ridiculous our two unlikely storytellers attempt the tale of Rudolf, the reindeer that just doesn't fit in.
Rudolf was produced by the Macrobert Arts Centre in 2008. It was revived for a run at Howden Park Centre for Christmas 2010. It performed at The Arches as their Christmas show for 2011.
