Kappa
Kappa is scared.
His heart beats too fast.
His nerves are shot and he hasn’t slept since….1924?
He can’t remember.
Time seems to have gone crazy, spinning in loops until he doesn’t know whether it is night or day. Will you help him? Is he safe here? Can he stay…just for a bit?
And when you find out what he is running from, will you forgive him?
When Kappa's mum falls into a depression he finds a new family with Z and his gang. However, as his life spirals out of control he is forced to choose between the gang or his mum...
Rob Evans was commissioned by Catherine Wheels and Kappa was first performed in classrooms across Scotland in 2007. The show will be touring schools once more in Autumn 2009.
